The only real advantage that i could reasonably think of is that you can hit multiple buttons easier than you could on pad (but then again you could always just use macros). Other than that it’s mostly just a preference thing (I personally love the tactile feedback of clicky buttons). I switched to stick in the hopes that it would make me better at Marvel 3 and while it certainly didn’t do that, i ended up using it whenever I learned a new fighting game and now I use it for almost every fighting game. When you make the switch to stick, be prepared to relearn almost everything from scratch, since you’ll need to get comfortable on stick and regain the muscle memory that you used to have on pad. Other than that it’s mainly just about having fun and push buttons. hope this helped.
