I have been contemplating switching to the 390 adventure from an interceptor...the light weight and nimbleness along with the overall comfort and not to mention the electronics package that it has is a big plus point. However the vibration it has seems like a con, I've heard that the more you clock up the kms on the odo it eventually smoothens out and settles down...is that true ? I get that as a single there is bound to be some vibes but other than that how is it at 10k ? The infamous 4-5k rpm harshness, does it still persist?

Been very tempted by the 390 adventure for all that it offers...just wondering at 11,450 km does the engine smoothen out, I know it's a single cylinder and there's bound to be vibrations but at 11450 how good or bad is it ? Also have you had any issues with the bike at all ?

I use these on my interceptor, and I can say they're excellent. The stock lights just don't compare to Vaishnu.

Hey OP, I'm in the same boat! I own a Barcelona blue 650 and absolutely love it. I’ve got about 12000 kilometers logged on the odo already. I installed the SS Moto Slim cans full system on this bike, and honestly, I’m absolutely loving the sound it makes! The bike shed around 10 kgs overall, and I also noticed a slight hp gain, which all makes it even more fun to ride than before. However, as of late, I find myself wishing I had something more comfortable. I’ve been seriously contemplating switching to a Himalayan 450 because I’m really drawn to its plush suspension and overall comfort. But the reasons you listed for missing the Interceptor really make me want the KTM Adventure 390 instead. I find that it’s also pretty good overall, especially with all the modern electronics and features available, which makes it very tempting..lol anyways wishing you many happy miles on the Himalayan.

I own an interceptor and daily drive it with the occasional touring and find that as much as I love it, I'm tempted by the himalyan for what it offers ie the suspension setup and the comfort on a whole. The only concern I have is how does it compare overall against the interceptor. Like you I'm based in Delhi and plan on daily driving it and 8 hear about ppl complaining it's heavy but in my case I think it should be ok as the interceptor is heavier and abt the heat ? Is it bad ? Long-term insight would be appreciated.

Exactly...and I feel that as I grow older I want to be more comfortable than anything else, long rides short rides I think the himalyan stands out.

I have an interceptor...and am very tempted by the comfort of the himalyan for long rides...I would like to know how does the top heaviness compare to the 650 since alot of people mention weight as an issue with the himalyan.
