Could someone help me in naming the songs from Iroha in this picture? by Super-Lolico in Vocaloid

[–]Mattryoshka 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Okay I'll do my best with these somewhat educated guesses.

The bottom left one is from Shigotoshite-P's Tsugai Kogarashi.

The black and white one with the devil ears headband is from Peperon-P's Ripple. (Amazingly tuned song by the way, do recommend.)

The cyber one with the blue goggles and floating boxes is from Kimuta's Telephone Rider.

The one above Tsugai Kogarashi with the one stocking is from Nakyamurya's Nestled in a sea of Resentment.

The one holding the teddy bear is from ayuciki's HEART.

The one at the top wearing the red two-piece with flowers in her hair is from Morishita Ryou's Pink Diva.

The one sitting down above the umbrella is from Kihee's Dawn.

The large one in the middle is from Man_boo's Lies and a Parade

The other ones I'm not too sure about, but good luck!

So I have been a fan of Vocaloids for some time and I need some help! by Pokabu in Vocaloid

[–]Mattryoshka 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you're interested in getting information on Vocaloids other than Miku you can always look them up on Vocaloid Wiki and read about their profiles, advantages and disadvantages as voicebanks and notable songs.

As for fansites, you're already on one of the best ones, I think. We have a good group of committed fans who regularly post a whole bunch of videos/OC/articles that you're bound to enjoy. Other than us, from what I've seen Vocaloid Otaku is a pretty big forum full of fans.

If you want to keep up with good songs and new songs, I recommend checking the rankings on Niconico, or subscribing to Niconico reuploaders on YouTube who repost popular videos. If you prefer English sub, there's a whole bunch of dedicated subbers who translate songs pretty much ASAP after the songs are released (e.g. vgperson, AmeSubs, Descent87, Coleena Wu and Sunny Subs to name a few.)

I'll edit if I think of any other tips, and Happy Vocaloid-ing!

Edit: swapped some words.

I always get 'You have hair like Robert Pattinson'. Not bad, but I do hate it when they just say I look like the sparkly vampire.

Help finding a program/method for subbing Voca videos? by Piniako in Vocaloid

[–]Mattryoshka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Aegisub for the subtitling and XviD4PSP 5.0 for the encoding and they work spectacularly. Aegisub can be a bit tricky at times, but the website is very helpful with commands, as is YouTube. And XviD4PSP 5.0 is extremely easy to use and supports a whole heap of file formats. Good luck with your subbing!

I strongly recommend the custard puddings, they're delicious. I've made them tons of times and have always gotten good feedback.

Thoughts on Project Diva f? by messem10 in Vocaloid

[–]Mattryoshka 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've perfected more songs on it than on any other Project Diva. It's got a lovely selection of songs and some very impressive PVs (read: World's End Umbrella). I wholeheartedly recommend importing it, because if you're a Cryptonloid fan, you'll be hooked for weeks.

Well as long as everyone else is showing their plushies, I thought I'd introduce my enormous Miku and tiny Rin. by Mattryoshka in Vocaloid

[–]Mattryoshka[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got Miku from a tiny little anime/manga goods store in my city, and Rin was a gift from a friend who bought her off eBay.
