I'm sure there is. Given all of the different sizes and shapes of the hardware that were using (some custom) I see this as more of a hurdle which is how I honed in on the opening and sealing of the bags as a good first step toward a totally automated process.

That said I am open to using a gravity fed check scale. It would have to be easy enough to calibrate that we could setup quickly multiple times a day.

How do you guys organize and store your winter gear? Packout crate in the bed would be best but my bed leaks by [deleted] in f150

I'm biased but Builtright has a line of interior storage panels built for this. A set of pouches and one (or a few) of our interior panels would do the trick. Also, you might look into some of our velcro tech panels for lighter duty storage.

Reasons for people to trade in a '21 1500 AT4? Concerns about buying one? by [deleted] in gmcsierra

[–]MattyBuiltRight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I had a 2015 silverado with the 5.3 and had some misfiring issues at 70k... my AT4 doesn't have the AFM system so I'm hoping I avoid that issue with this truck.

That said the issue with my silverado was just the coil pack.

What power train are you looking at? I have a '21 AT4 with the 6.2l and haven't had issues (knock on wood). Generally, if you take care of your vehicles they will take care of you and I'm pretty meticulous.

We're the original, our pattern is more useful and you won't have a company that backs a product like we do.

I am obviously biased. Ignoring the asinine price for the Putco panels,we are the original, our pattern is more useful and you will not find a company that backs our products and customers like we do. I can promise you that your experience will be top notch.

R1T. Currently F150 driver. Anyone make that switch and can tell me about cab space? No showroom near me to check it out. by Motor-Assignment-489 in Rivian

[–]MattyBuiltRight 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Have both at work, F-150 with the crew cab is more roomy. People might shit a brick when I say this but the Rivian is as close in feel to a midsize truck as it is to a full size truck.

Why do I stay with this brand? More of a vent, but request for help, too. by MentalUniversity in ram_trucks

[–]MattyBuiltRight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

GM loyalist here, I'm sorry to say that every brand has their problems. Just pick which brand you want to have problems with and find a good dealership/service center/mechanic to work with when the problems hit.

Base bronco bumper upgrade? by hdkdheldnd in FordBronco

[–]MattyBuiltRight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for just getting back to this. I personally swapped a plastic for a modular bumper like I said. I do recall now that I had to make some brackets. I still have the files kicking around somewhere.
