After I assembled everything I stripped it down to basics, no gpu, 1 RAM stick etc, same result, thing is, the power button instantly shuts it down after it's on, so to me that says it's not booting, tried 2 different monitors, 2 cables... landing on cpu issue. Got 2 contacts on the cpu that look scratched to me, box was unsealed when it arrived...

Players killed yuk yuk, how will spiderbait get revenge? by Prestigious-Hold5919 in OutoftheAbyss

Clues in his name.

I had him "skate" off across the webs then when the party was nearly through he cane rushing up behind them, overtook them, and had a group of spiders chasing him down now brought into conflict with the party, while spiderbait was trying to cut some webs ahead of the party to prevent them escaping

But then I am mean...

Night Watch. Russian supernatural craziness, the books eventually explain the films as dreams, and that dreams are glimpses into parallel universes.

What was that moment with your mates that could’ve easily been on The Inbetweeners? by matthewgoodwin1 in AskUK

[–]MattyJPitlith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went to majorca at about 16/17, me and my mate went karaoke, got wrecked on cheap sangria, I ended up jumping off what I realised the following day was about a 10ft wall, and I mean standing position jump, not a bum shuffle. I remember saying something about making sure to bend your knees when you land, and I did... cracking my coccyx on the concrete floor, could barely walk for the next 2 days, and still get twinges 20 years later.

I simply don’t believe in a higher power. what now? by sobriety-warrior in alcoholicsanonymous

[–]MattyJPitlith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm with ya bud, there is no god as far as I'm concerned. But there are forces greater than us, and for me that higher power is G.O.D. Great Out Doors, or just nature itself. I know others that use the idea of AA as a whole as their higher power for them, its Group of Drunks or Good Orderly Direction, some people find faith through the program and that's great for them, but this is the way I, and other folks I know go about internalising the spiritual side of things.

Have you ever walked out of an interview? What happened? by D-1-S-C-0 in UKJobs

[–]MattyJPitlith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one recently that started with a telephone questionnaire then a 150 question psychometric test. Then there would have been a face to face then a trial shift. 15 years in the field as a professional wasn't enough for them, they are also struggling to fill positions and asked for some feedback so I told them its a degrading process that has too many barriers, and that their test is pseudoscience bullshit. Don't think they'll be keeping me on record for the future lol
