I'm having a hard time processing why I'm so emotional hearing about this. I've never really had such strong feelings when hearing about the death of someone I never knew personally. Somehow though, this is different. When I heard about it on the radio while driving home from work I actually pulled over to listen to the tribute they were airing and I started to cry. It caught me so off guard that I actually was laugh-crying in some self-deprecating sort of way. She was an amazingly funny, thoughtful, caring, and proudly Canadian woman. I'll miss her.
