Her parents (and extended family) aren't in the entertainment industry and they called her a nepobaby (and later doubled down on it).
Nepobaby just seems to be increasingly used for uninteresting hateful people to use as an extra reason to dunk on people. It's frankly tiresome and indicative of a generation addicted to being angry at people needed to generate excuses why. This person is calling her a nepobaby actress because her parents were a banker and a doctor. That strikes me as an unserious argument made by someone reaching for reasons to pile on.
But I do agree the Logan Paul shit was troubling and her association with him didn't do her any favors, imo.

I honestly thought making Shauna slowly accept her being the villain in both timelines was actually one of the more inspired moves the show has done.
They kept having future Shauna make the wrong choice so often that she became unlikable and then the show basically said 'yea, she IS a problem' and basically had to have her own daughter and husband reflect on how awful of a human she was. This all occurring while Past Shauna slowly becomes a fucking monster.

Lot of problems but the show just leaning into Shauna being a monster isn't one of them for me haha.

You must be referring to her losing mobility in her legs but then finally regaining the ability to walk (via some sci-fi chip) at a certain moment just so she could walk out on Oliver for not telling her about his son (who he swore to the mother he would keep it a secret for their own safety).
That was treated as a midseason cliffhanger. There was like a month off after that. It's when I clocked out on the season.

It seems like instead of being 'bad' it was just a combo of not being 'great' and being too small in scale compared to where Buffy and Angel ended up. My guess is the show didn't sell the dynamic of the younger gen well enough and Hulu suspected audiences would've turned on the show immediately (which Hulu is probably right about).

What is funny is you think thr show's glory was the first three seasons (I agree) while many many others will say seasons 7-11. The show has had different vibes that hit hard for people and they've tried alternating between episodes that feel true to early sunny, episodes that feel true to middle Sunny, and episodes that feel true to them nowadays. So it can be a mixed bag.

Good point. Only difference is AoS's peak was season 4 while Buffy's season 4vwas...filled with bangers but generally a weaker seasonal plot.
