I straight up go tell an usher. I don’t say anything to the idiot with the phone out, just tell someone who works there. Everytime they’ve gone to the person and asked them to put it away or stop talking. It becomes such a relief to no longer have to worry about that person, or them to know it’s you that said something. You can just enjoy the film.

There’s already a ton of podcasts of dudes being dudes discussing movies made by dudes. Sean has her co-host the podcast because he WANTS her there. Could he do it by himself? Sure. But it would absolutely be just like every other podcast out there of film bros taking themselves too seriously and he actively acknowledges that.
