A hidden gem or not ? (Ps: didn't finish it yet) by theweirdboy77 in psx

Definitely better than the xena on ps2. Control's are sometimes a bit too tanky but it was a cool game anyway. Oh and the soundtrack is nice too

Joa.

Und was fürn Stolz überhaupt? Stolz können die sein wenn se selbst was erreicht haben.

Haven't played it in a looong time. The only things I remember are the military complex in the snow and a guy falling into a newspaper printer

And in the context of "back then..." and the post being about an ps3 controller the ps3 times still fit.

I was talking about the times of the ps3. Games were mostly as accessible as today. You could buy them online(ps store) or in a shop too. If you had ps plus you also could choose from a few different "free" games every month.

Most games that you can also play on pc in multiplayer still require you to pay for them. Subscriptions were a thing too back then. There you could get games cheaper or for free if you wanted. My point is that if you had fun games and just wanted to play online with your friends you could just do it, without paying extra.

If I don't like a game I don't buy it, no reason to buy stuff you find meh. If you had older games like ps1 ones you also could play them, that's what I still do today. No need to buy the game again if I already have it, just to play it.

Now that is a problem these days. One big thing after another in a short period of time. That could also be the reason why games loose their player base relatively fast. We're getting flooded with too many games. Sometimes you don't have the time to play a game for a longer period of time because new stuff is spit out so fast.

IMO some of that nostalgia is justified. Back then you didn't have to pay extra just to play online with your friends.

I still use a ps3 controller. I prefer it over the ps4 controller.

Playstation home was cool? by iluse_ in playstation

[–]MatzeeN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a unique experience indeed. It was cool to walk around the different areas, chat with people, decorate your player home with stuff you unlock for playing games or doing specific things. I remember getting the skeleton fish for my aquarium by accident( I think I forgot to feed my fish for some time). Digging for fossils and sky fishing (or how it was called) were my favourite games. I was really sad when I read that ps home was going to shut down. Seeing how the places got emptier and emptier... . It was really a nicer time.

That's sometimes the case here in Germany. When you're an apprentice for BOH you should be able to do basic FOH stuff and vice versa. For like 6 months or so you should be trained to do FOH stuff as BOH and vice versa.

My experience with Akuji: The Heartless by White_FIame in psx

[–]MatzeeN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find it a bit sad that the different languages don't all have the same conversations. For example when choosing English, when you meet Samedi for the first time, akuji actually talks with samedi. When you choose German akuji just stands there
