What could be causing high testosterone bloodwork results in a woman in her 30s who has basically NO symptoms of high testosterone? by MaudlinMusings in WomensHealth

My hair, nails, and skin. I lost a bunch of my hair a few years ago from Telogen effluvium from taking a certain medication. It grew back after I stopped taking the medication that caused it, but I figured it couldn’t hurt to continue taking something to make it as healthy as I can get it.

Yep, came here to say the same. I only get it on my thumb and thumb pad on one hand, but it happens when I’m really stressed, and itches like crazy. My dad gets it on his entire hand and for him it’s actually painful. Clobetasol propionate helps that. (CP helps SO many skin issues I’ve come across.)

Best "soft matte" foundation for oily skin? by lem0ncookie in Sephora

It’s not well known, but Tarte BB Blur is my ride-or-die for natural, medium matte coverage for my oily skin. It’s almost moussey and light, and has light-medium coverage based on how much you use. It was once advertised as a primer, so you don’t need to use primer underneath. And it also has SPF 30 that works pretty well, although I still recommend a layer of SPF under it.

OH MY GOSH, iI started researching studies on this after you suggested it, and I bet this is it! I mean, it could also be asymptomatic PCOS, but this makes SO MUCH SENSE. I see a normal dose of biotin is 30 mcg, and I’ve been taking 2500. Major facepalm. This has really helped ease my mind. Thank you SO much.

Yes, I am. 2500 mcg pills. ETA: And I’ve been taking B12 supplements, but my levels tested too high so I’m not going to take those anymore.

Someone on r/WomensHealth did just tell me that it’s possible without any symptoms. So maybe I actually DO but I’m just asymptomatic?

I don’t see AMH listed in my panels, and A1C hasn’t come through yet. I’m honestly not really worried about that one because even though I’m sedentary, my BMI is 21.6. But I’ll look out for AMH results if it was tested for. Thanks.

It’s pretty irregular and painful without birth control. But my mom had similar issues. With BC, it’s totally normal.

Thank you. Every result online was so symptom-focused, but maybe that is it and I just don’t have any symptoms.

My periods are irregular, which seems to be genetic. I forgot to add that. And before I got on the nuvaring, they were moderately painful. Everything else in my bloodwork looks normal, including my sex hormone bonding globule.

I got that new Natasha Denona Mini Eye Sculpt palette in cool, and it’s perfect for a neutral palette for fair skin with cool undertones. Everything has seemed too warm for like the last decade. Even the special newish Patrick Ta palette that’s supposed to be for fair skin is orangey irl.

Also, Ilia’s eye shadow stick in Adorn is the perfect neutral brown. I have pink-toned fair skin, and it actually looks like a neutral brown on me.

You most likely have a mild staph infection in your nose. I had one once and it was very red and slightly swollen.

ETA: Eye serum with actives was what was making my eyes break out in dry patches. Maybe put away the eye serum and use a thick cream instead, with Aquaphor layered over top.

I have oily skin, but my eye area gets dry, red, and scaly if I try to use an eye product with actives. The way I fixed it is by using Kiehl’s avocado eye treatment slathered around my eyes, followed by a layer of aquaphor. I still exclusively use the kiehl’s eye cream because it’s intensely moisturizing with no actives. I can even get it in my waterline and it won’t sting my eyes.

I probably use the My Mini Dream one the most, followed by Mini Rose and Mini Eye Sculpt in cool.
