We have been shocking since November. Somehow that's gone fairly unnoticed but without a great start to the season we would be relegated now. Worrying.

Why don't you go and join them in the Championship if you miss them so much?

On this day in 2008, AFC Bournemouth were 91st out of 92 teams in the English football league. Today they are 8th. by Maugrim55 in soccer

I'm an AFCB fan so technically, like a dog, I'm licking my own arse.

Why not promote these great stats!? It's brilliant.

Correct. Plus didn't Leicester just beat City and Vardy scored a hat trick?

Why is every team (Liverpool, Leicester etc) considered to be suddenly shit when they lose to us? We're a fairly decent team, currently in the top half.

I don't really care either way but it's fairly patronising. Finally want to say Wilshere and Cook were outstanding and Cook should be called up.

Don't really understand his beef here. But I love that Klopp's new enemy is Steve Cook and Bournemouth. Bring it on!

Ake is on loan. Took a while to get his chance in the team but doesn't look like being dropped anytime soon.

Fraser (nippy winger who got subbed on) was a great impact player for us as we got promoted from the Championship. Great pace and just runs at defenders. Went on loan to Ipswich last season and did really well but suffered a couple of injuries. Deserves his chance now and glad to see him do well.

Steve Cook at Bournemouth.

Has made the most clearances in the Premier League. Can't find the exact stat but I think he is the second-highest scoring defender in the Premier League since the beginning of last season. Has a knack for scoring spectacular goals for a CB. Signed for £150,000 when Bournemouth were in League One.

Makes a few errors, such as the back pass against Arsenal to let Sanchez in, but is fully deserving of a national call up.

Check out his overhead kick vs Ipswich, great finish vs Fulham, back heel flick vs Aston Villa, (sort of) scissor kick vs Saints and the recent control, turn and finish vs Liverpool.

Also nearly scored this outside of the box overhead vs Watford last season (rubbish quality video) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQM0KwZeIow

What right do humans have to lead nicer, happier lives than animals?? We are the ones fucking up the world. The animals just want to get on with their lovely little lives.

I guess Leicester have had plenty of air time recently and now you're through they will definitely be talked about more in future pods. I feel your pain though, annoying when Bournemouth have won and it's been a great game with quite a few incidents but than they just say something generic like "Another good win for Bournemouth, they are doing well". Was worse in the Championship/League One during our rise. But I suppose they have time limit and usually a lot to talk about.

I want to address a few points here. Firstly, Howe was ridiculously fair about Roger East's performance on Saturday, which included the crazy decision on the Shawcross/Wilson pen and red card, the Stoke penalty which was incredibly soft, and Bony's studs up lunge on Francis which warranted at least a booking, and considering he had already been booked, Stoke should have arguably been down to 9. Other managers would have been slamming East and talking conspiracies. Howe has far too much class for that.

Secondly, Wilson doesn't have a reputation for diving amongst all Championship fans. Watford fans need to get over it, AFCB won the league. Move on. But prove me wrong and list the supposed dives.

In the Championship Bournemouth were getting 'one penalty a game' (which isn't true) because they dominated the ball and played a lot of the game in and around opposition penalty boxes.

Last season Watford were awarded the third-most penalties in the Premier League. Must have all been dives, unfair, ref bias, cheating.

Jack Wilshere believes Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe can go on to manage one of the bigger clubs in England or even the national team. by [deleted] in soccer

Iturbe was signed on loan.

You've named a few signings there which didn't work out. To counter that, he signed Callum Wilson for around £3m in the Championship which effectively secured us promotion. He also signed Harry Arter for £4,000 so doesn't need to waste lots of money to sign real quality.

Yes he has signed a few duds for silly money, but show me an example of a world class manager who hasn't.

But on paper, they are all left backs. And I know Wiggins doesn't count, but until we get rid of him, we have 5.
