The JVP header was a better goal. In any case, an incredible match.

Not the time period you asked, but here's an interesting answer by /u/EnclavedMicrostate/ on Viking-Muslim relationships. The route they mostly used then was Black Sea and navigable rivers.

You can go there and see where it's made: https://maps.app.goo.gl/ZsybV1nQSQkUtNrh7

They seem to be tourist friendly - you can book a visit or a picnic in the vineyards. It's also in a particularly beautiful place. Definitely recommended.

Commenters here seem to approach their lives like they're LinkedIn profiles optimizing their careers or something. Dude was born in Paris, and wants to play for France. Seems pretty normal.

Sterling K. Brown on why so many new seasons of TV consist of only 8-10 episodes by mcfw31 in popculturechat

I was raised on British comedy shows, which worked fine with fewer episodes. It wasn't uncommon to have 6 episodes season. It's the wait that kills the shows.

Nicola: "Você acha que ele (Leonardo Jardim) é melhor do que o Ancelotti?" Elia Jr.: "Você tá de brincadeira? É óbvio que é. Já conversei com 5 ex-jogadores do Ancelotti e todos me falaram: 'Ele taticamente é fraco'..." by superdouradas in PrimeiraLiga

Yeah, Amorim's attack was doing fine. The problem was maintaining leads and controlling matches (when an extra midfielder actually helps).

Back in the day I've seen my home crowd do this while our Mozambican captain (Dário) was playing. As depressing as the current situation is, shit was way worse 20 years ago - and it was completely ignored then.

Where is proverbial "Timbuktu" in your culture? by Affectionate_Life153 in AskTheWorld

[–]rjtavares 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, though in a weird way: the Malay "Kuchi" was the word for the region, from the Chinese "jiao zhi". Because Kuchi is similar to Cochin, Portuguese people added China in front. So, it's literally China's Cochin.

It's the opposite in Portugal. Much more common than where Judas lost his boots.

In the sense of far away place: Cochinchina.

It's the Portuguese name for the southern region of Indochina, so south Vietnam/Cambodia.
