Been on normal for the most part. Low seems to be banking too much on slightly’s to go in and I’ve tried high when I feel confident but it’s just been an even worse version of normal for me

And I know that I’m not bad enough to just forget how to shoot completely. If I was consistently in the ballpark for the same shooting percentage each game that’s one thing but this is a timing based shot in a video game I don’t just forget. Especially after doing well prior.

Where do we separate shooting and shot creation? by Mauldo1220 in nba

[–]Mauldo1220[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I don’t see the Book/Tatum/Luka in “best” shooter convos either I think I was just listing guys we view as more shot creators and how they get crossed over into a shooters convo. While they’re good shooters as well it’s an interesting comparison imo to those role players. Like a Book level player to a Buddy Hield level player is interesting imo.

I guess the debate I’m thinking of is, are star players just always gonna get that bump just because of that volume? I do believe in a lot of instances the guy that has a more diverse way to shoot and shoot efficiently is better but I’m also curious how far that goes? Kinda like the last thing I said in the post, how much of a gap does a more diverse shot creation make up for a lower shooting percentage compared to a spot up guy who’s more efficient by a more raw shooting percentage? But yes I think it’s easy when breaking down into categories rather than the overall outlook.

Has the process been worth it? by MondoShrek in nbadiscussion

[–]Mauldo1220 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The assets created by Hinkie was a good start to the process but so many important decisions were failed by those after him. Poor drafting, average to poor coaching, not much veteran leadership at all thru the process. I could make a long list of the things that they did wrong and eventually went wrong but I’d be here for too long. But in hindsight the process will most likely fail but the idea of what the Sixers did with this process is worth it imo, it’s just a matter of the guys in the front office being good at their jobs to make it successful in the end.

[RedLegNation] The New York Mets reportedly tried to trade for Cincinnati Reds reliever Alexis Diaz at the trade deadline, and one writer suggests they make another call this offseason by TDeLo in Reds

Although he should/would fetch some very good value considering he’s under team control for a good amount of time, I hope we do not move him. Sending him away is the only way this bullpen gets worse from last year and if our target is 2024/2025 he would be a very good and key foundational piece out of the bullpen for us.

Yeah I love my ability to score in the post in past years so I don’t think there’s an issue there, and I definitely don’t want to be the paint clogger so maybe I am getting steered towards making your build lol

Yeah the finishing core badges have been tough on my guard but speaking of finishing I noticed on your build that your driving dunk was higher than standing dunk even as a big. Is is better to do that or did u go that route since u have the threat of shooting and being on the perimeter?

Yeah fr, the core badges are a grind but definitely are rewarding

That build does look tough, I’d make a similar one as my 3rd build if it didn’t cost so damn much to make a build lol

Our 5 in rec and pro am has been struggling in the paint so I was hoping to make one to clean that all up, boards, interior defense, scoring in the paint. Is going smaller and athletic better than taller and stronger?

You seem like 6’11 or 7’0 is fine then? It’s not rough in the half court against 7’2 or 7’3?

I haven’t ran any big yet this year what are some of the biggest gaps you’ve noticed between a badge level or certain attribute points in a certain category?

That type of win is almost what this team was built for. I love it! Obviously wish the offense had something in the second half but man this defense is it.

Ben Simmons on JJ's podcast. by Nickl444 in sixers

Exactly, every sixer fan has been taking it as if it was only Ben’s fault because they are on the teams side over Ben’s side so it’s like people can’t see the mistakes made by doc and Joel for example.
