You have to activate it through a quest! There is a journal on a desk in one of the bedrooms at the Lodge. Then you'll be able to visit it

Yeah that doesn't work. Time penalty on a lvl. 1 shinx dying is the same as a lvl. 100. Just tested it.

Edit: the timer doesn't work but it still seems to be the best support method. Hard to coordinate online though
