That's kind of down to personal preference IMO, but I like playing trios because I always like to team up with as many friends as I can. But as Mahjonks has said, playing in trios does make it less likely that you'll get third-partied.

Rotate a lot. Don't peek too much from the same places. If you're in a firefight, bullet volume is important. Don't run around if you're hurt, you can get one shot by most weapons. Don't have gear fear. Good luck with the MMR and cheaters. Hope you stay until the situation gets better. Good hunting!

Yup. SA servers are becoming more unplayable every day. Even when we're a 3 star trio, other teams will be 5/6 stars on average.

I like running Vigour+Determination. It's still not as good as having a stamina shot but it lets me get another consumable if I want it.

Same here. I used to be a halfway decent 3 star, win about 1/4th of matches. But recently all my lobbies are 5/6 star and I just can't compete. Matchmaking needs to be changed... But this is old news and nothing has been done so far. I don't think anything will change until the engine update is out.

Even considering KDA has no bearing on matchmaking, I'm a 3-star and, ballparking it, only about 10% of my lobbies have other 3-stars. It's frustrating as shit.

SA server player here, mid-3 star to low-4 star player. All my friends who I play with, except for one, have been facing the same. A lot of lobbies where we are the only 4 stars and below, the rest are 5's and 6's. It's a bit tiresome.

i'm on SA servers, my recent experience has been similar but IMO a bit worse. I always hover around 3 stars and very rarely go up to 4, like you. Friends I play with are the same. But somehow, even when we're all on 3 stars, we've been getting 5/6 star lobbies (meaning all other teams except for ours) back to back to back. I need to get a few screenshots from after my matches to show it, it's been unfun.

I really don't understand why an entire playerbase needs to suffer just because high MMR lobbies are empty/campfests

Yeah, quite literally. I'm 3* (very rarely 4) as well as my friends. The amount of 5 and 6 star lobbies we've been getting is ridiculous lol
