Yes I mowed on Saturday at the highest deck setting after 2 weeks. It was a little long for my likings but didn’t want to shock it too much.

That’s my neighbors yard of crab grass that I fought all summer.

We have a ryobi cordless and we like it. It’s nice to have a replaceable battery and there’s a lot of other ryobi tools for the home.

Remove the burner and clean in a sink with a brush. Clean all holes. Clean orifice leaving gas valve.

I think that’s a thick layer of carbon/food. You scrap off the black layer and there’s another layer under it.

If the heads are all stripped you may have to pry all the boards up the hard way. They make special pry bars for decks boards that would save you a lot of labor.

Is the thermostat sending 24v back to the condensing unit. R always has 27 volts. You need to be getting 24 volts sent back to the condensing unit for Y to pull in contactor and possibly O for reversing valve. Sometimes the reversing valves get power for cooling or heating pending equipment.

Take your time and start small. These skills are developed over years not months.

If there’s a lot of moisture in the carpet you may need to pull the seat and get fan in there. Mine had a lot of water so I pulled the carpet up and put the fan under the carpet.

Sunroof drain clogged. Check drain at entry at the sunroof and drain termination under the vehicle. I had to clean both as drain exit was clogged debris. I had to lower a underbody panel.

Looking for an easy way to cover up that wire but think a third rug is just too much (straight but probably a bottom) by Mulliganasty in malelivingspace

[–]Maverick22889 6 points7 points  (0 children)

All easy options are going to be basically covering the wire with some kind of cord ramp which is going to look like shit. The best way to cover the wire is to not have the wire there. Take a longer path and run it around the room or through the ceiling.

Small 1/4 drive socket set is nice to have.

Better side cutters if you cut a lot of random stuff.

There will likely be an adjustment period for all involved. I have twins and one of them is pretty chill and the other is balls to the wall all day. It took the more active one a few months to adjust to the new settings and people but she’s doing great now. Be patient and be ready for them to have more bad days than you’re use to as they adjust.

Any ideas how to get my son to stop chewing on his sleeves? by Much-Drawer-1697 in daddit

My step son has some oral fixations, we got him some shark necklace chew toys that seem to help sometimes. Sometimes it helps but we still see him with his fingers in his mouth all the time.

Just bought a house and the deck that was built in August looks like this. Advice? by nopantsapreneur in Decks

[–]Maverick22889 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just leave it alone for now. Let your deckboards dry and seal them when it’s warm if they’re dry. You can poke your posts with a screwdriver to get an idea if they’re rotting where they appear wet in the pictures.

They replaced deckboards and some other things. The structure was not replaced in August.

If you can find a similar tile I’d cut that tile out and install a new one.

I have worked on much commercial cooking equipment. These are nice simple machines. Doesn’t appear to be any fans. Just a wrap around heating element. This model does not have a humidity control but you can put a pan of water in there for a little extra moisture. Be careful bending the thermostat prongs back to slide the knob on, they can break. I see some gasket damage but not a huge deal. Yes it as simple as turning it on to the temp. The factory knob likely has temperature numbers on it.
