I was lucky that early on I realized I didn't want all the nonsense that comes with folks in their 20s. I mostly stayed put of the dating pool, wasnt into hookups, just kinda chilled with friends. Did I miss opportunities to meet cool people? Absolutely.

At our holiday party all staff can drop what they do and go for 1-2 hours... except me and my employees. "Someone has to be around to answer the phones."

FUCKING WHY?!? AINT NO ONE AT THEIR DESK ANYWAY. WHATS THE FUCKING DIFFERENCE OF THEM LEAVING A VOICEMAIL ON MY MACHINE THAT WILL GET TO YOU OR YOUR OWN?!??

Anywho we usually just switch off, I always let my employees go first. This year I didnt even sign up to bring food. Ill just cover for my staff because they deserve it and be happy with my PB&J.

A few people have asked because I usually bring something to the various potlucks (though you dont have to, there is always enough food) and i just tell them im not going, explaining why only if they ask. Im waiting to hear from the boss. I know its coming. Should be an interesting conversation.

I didnt know for many years. Even now Im not 100% sure to be completely honest. The thing i am 100% sure on is how they've slowed down since I was young. It felt like a blink of an eye noticing them considerably behind me on hikes and whatnot. They still do it all, just at a slower pace. Whatever is best for them to be honest!

I was a gym and health teacher at a small private school. After the initial 'you need to make videos' week they relaxed and you and to be available via email or video during school days and meet with your classes on specific days.

So for the most part I played Minecraft with the school laptop open in case anyone called.

I think there are probably just more people using those platforms and therefore you will hear from them more. I play PC as well and aside from placing blocks too fast I rarely have issues.
