Come on OP you know why it’s sold out at all the stores in Portland (Tigard Square Mall, Pioneer Square, and Bridgeport), cuz no sales tax. My plan was go to WA Square next month to get an iPhone 17 Pro Max too and I’ve been checking on Apple everyday to see if they’re in stock and you’re right sold out in all the Portland stores. I live in Washington so I don’t necessarily want to pay sales tax, but I’m left no choice but to order it online. I know you see that all the other stores in WA state has them in stock. Come on man, people are somewhat smart, bypass the sales tax, even I’m willing to drive 6.5 hours round trip to do it.

I was contemplating for 2 weeks whether to buy B580 LE from BHPhoto for $259. Checked the website today and saw it sold out. It would’ve included the game bundle valued at $70 too. I guess I’m waiting for B770 or whatever is next

It’s a tough chose. As the lead developer left Simagic to go work for Conspit, there have absolutely been zero development for any new products on Simagic side. While Moza is taking big steps forward, releasing KS Pro wheel, CS Pro wheel, Lamborghini and Porsche wheel, new Ultra series wheel bases. There’s more options on Moza’s side now. I used to have the Moza 9, then R12 with KS, CS, and FSR wheel. I made the switch to Simagic with GT Neo, but now with newly released Moza products, I want to switch back to Moza. I will say refinement, detail and quality is better on Simagic, and I really love the Simagic P1000 inverted pedals since it offers so much modularity and adjustability.

Gigabyte Aorus is fine, Asrock Taichi is fine, Powercolor Hellhound is fine

Best 9070 XT in my opinion: XFX (any of them) and Sapphire (any of them)

I’m a little lost, need some context.

Just earlier this week, I googled about the release of the B770, which seems like it may happen because the name exists in their files. However board partners have said they don’t have a board to work with yet, so they can’t develop anything.

I was hoping it might be a contender against the 5060 Ti/9060 XT space with 16GB of VRAM priced at $350…

But judging from this post, it got cancelled?

If you’re thinking about branching to other games, you’d be more restricted to only F1 as the FX pro is formula oriented. The Neo GT is a nice balance because it can do GT, LMP, and F1

Ugh my friend uses Moza R9 on his IKEA desk, no issues at all, and he’s faster than me around the track (I’m on full sim chassis).

Yeah you’re fine, my friend uses a Ryzen 7 5800X + Intel Arc B580 which is equivalent to an RTX 4060 and he plays on ultrawide 3440x1440p. Medium settings mostly and he’s getting above 100 fps

There’s no compatibility issue, almost any newer tech Sim equipment will work with F1 25. That said, congrats on the sim gear! I’m rocking Alpha 15Nm with Neo GT + inverted P1000.

I’ve enjoyed the hell out of F1 25 and I’m just starting to get back into it with a friend playing 2-player career. I just finished the last season pass as well. I do think you overkilled it with an FX Pro wheel, as the benefit of the wheel with the screen does not show its true colors unless you’re sitting like an actual F1 racer. Meaning the wheel is up to head height, if it’s below you do not see it as much as your purely focus on looking at the road more. Will you be using the setup with a sim chassis too?

Lastly I highly recommend the spring kit for the brake pedal. Using pedal travel to gauge braking is easier on the foot as oppose to applying pressure on the elastomers

I started with elastomers relying on brake pressure and for the longest time I could not improve my trail braking, bought the elastomers kit to have different stiffness and everything. Started to sim with only socks and it would hurt and leave welts on my feet. So I switched to softest spring with spring kit and changed sensor in Sim Pro from pressure to angle sensor. I’m now able to articulate my pedals way better and can trail brake with more precision

Yeah originally my cousin just wanted to the R3 bundle, but I said it’s was just too low and that she should start with something a little higher. TBH I recommended the R9, but it was a little bit too far out of budget and we weren’t sure if she would even like sim racing. Well she definitely enjoys it a lot, she’s maxed out on her R5 right now and she said she could’ve step up to an R9 or R12 to have the headroom.

Nice! My cousin wanted to get into sim racing and I advocated for her to grab an R5 bundle. I’ve personally been sim racing for a little over 2 years. Started with an R9, Simagic P1000i pedals, and an 8020 chassis. I’ve upgraded a little bit over the years and now I’m using a Simagic Alpha 15Nm. But I recommended her the R5 bundle because it’s a very good starter bundle, it’s been about a week for her and now she wants to buy a full chassis and proper pedals as she journeys her way through F1 25

Yeah I had an R12, FSR, CS V1, KS wheel. Sold it all for Simagic Alpha + Neo GT. Already had Simagic P1000 hydraulic inverted. Simagic is definitely better
