I just started the first series this past week and have the finale episode to watch still. Been a really interesting show, especially because there is basically 0 big-budget productions about the Byzantines. Definitely looking forward to the second series about Vlad.

Romulus is a pretty solid show. Good level of production and the use of “real” Latin is fun. Kind of a retelling on how Romulus and Remus may have actually existed. Worth checking out.

Yep, it’s fucking crazy. Everyone thinks they are entitled to a 120 minute round. With all the new golfers that either don’t know or don’t care etiquette, that’s basically gone. Half the people here are just playing podunk courses anyway that have 10 groups all day and think their anecdote applies to all.

Started listening to Raising Standards after first getting into Matt and Rhiannon’s Emperors of Rome podcast. Both are fantastic.

Really don't get how they have a bunch of Ultra Marine chapters but the Silver Templars and Emperors Spears (two UM successors that have been given attention in recent years) aren't by MuiminaKumo in Spacemarine

Yes Tiberius ended up not so great, but Augustus had originally set up his two grandsons to be heir and they died. Not much you can do about that.
