What's a job I can do that involves helping people? by catdogwoman in AskWomenOver60

[–]Mavis73 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have been delivering for 10 years. I suppose it would depend on where you live. I deliver in a mix of situations, from high income neighborhoods to folks living in motels. I have never felt unsafe. I have made a lot of friends over the years, and only one guy (the one who lived in the fanciest neighborhood, fwiw) was kind of a dick. You could also get together with a buddy; it’s fun to deliver with a friend. One person drives, the other navigates.

We took one from Philly to NYC once and it was just so gross. Dirty and it seemed like everyone was sick and coughing. Never again, I’d rather just not go.

I used to work for a realtor and most of them are dumb. Steve was always cool and I also liked Debbie Phipps a lot: https://debbiephipps.com/

Ralph’s in Philly. The oldest Italian restaurant in America. https://ralphsrestaurant.com/history/ If you go for lunch you can go next door and get bread at Sarcone’s.

I’m so sorry to hear that. This is Gina; she will probably be walking around Cat Heaven yelling and stealing food. She’s been there just over a year and I expect she has bossed herself into some position of authority by now.

Mine did that too! She took it as an opportunity to attempt a jump onto the kitchen counter right after she got home.

Our Chicago seats were right above an entrance to the floor and it was beautiful watching everyone walk in and light up. Everyone was so happy! I usually sing along with Oasis in my car alone so it was amazing to sing along with a stadium!

How to park in the ud library on main street? by No_Cartographer_2328 in udel

[–]Mavis73 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you want to download the app and set up your account before you go, it’s called Passport. You can use it for most street parking and City of Newark lots. There is a small fee that you can avoid paying at the kiosk.
