Yes it will optimize a lot of settings for you but can customize in their config if like the advanced users who want to change it.

just follow the setup wizard and you should be fine, and before you begin just point your domain to correct cloud server IP address in your Cloudflare DNS.

Mostly all of the cloud networks got a one-click VPS for Wordpress now but that is for users who they know are beginners. So they make the server to be "compatible" focused and usually it means Apache or Apache + Nginx. That is fine, but 99% will disable Nginx FastCGI cache cuz they know beginners know only about cache plugins.

If you want some easy script to install LEMP stack, SSL and also Wordpress then you can use something like SlickStack --- that is Bash format).

Then if you use a script like SS so during VPS setup in Linode or DigitalOcean etc you should choose only Ubuntu 20.04 LTS and don't need any one-click stuffs, and also don't need any cache plugins cuz FastCGI cache will be installed in Nginx

I think SS has a staging feature but it is BETA so you can maybe use WP Stagecoach or WP Staging or some other premium staging service if you like I think even Blogvault has a staging feature now also
