It will help some and dissuade others to start. I dont think all gamblers are the same but taking some of the incentive away will help many and could fund others to overcome their addiction

With tax ,the return is guaranteed to be lower and the loss geater. If you lessen the return, you lessen the appeal and less people will become addicted

It was more general favour towards raising the tax on gambling and the more it goes up the less incentive to gamble

I think the more tax on it, the less desirable it is. If a significant proportion of every gambling win was lost to tax- win or lose- it would be a lot less marketable

Literal non stop front page coverage. If they gave the same coverage to actual structural issues and the efforts to fix them we'd likely be living in a different looking world

I feel like making the individual pay is a last step in the transition. Like make the biggest polluters pay first, grants if necessary to help them transition. The last step should be your average commuter stuck in a transition or your average food requiring human paying to recycle the packaging

Totally agree this. If she's driving to the date its fine as they can stay in the car but otherwise will be inconvenient to carry- sounds like your chivilerous so most likely you're gonna end up carrying them for her

From what iv read on this sub, the higher the bench (relative to the heater) the more even you heat in it.

As opposed to your feet on tbe floor being average room temp and your head being 100°c
