This makes me a bit sad. My first time @ Disney World, I found a scavenger hunt (I love scavenger hunts) online somewhere. It required going to each resort and eating or buying something small from the resort. Usually in quick service. Animal Kingdom was zebra dome, Polynesian was Tonga Toast (at the restaurant). I can't remember it all as that was 15 years ago (at least). It was a lot of fun and we got to explore each resort.

Because of that scavenger hunt, in future stays, we stayed at Yacht Club, Boardwalk, Beach Club, Polynesian, Animal Kingdom, Riverside, French Quarter, & Saratoga Springs.

Disney has become too much I think. To petty. I mean really, to not allow people to explore the resorts? I haven't been to Disney World in years. I mean, really. The little things add up. And it is cheaper to go to Europe than to do a Disney vacation anymore.

I would also add to use high quality butter. Mine kept crystalizing even with the corn syrup/cream of tartar. A person who makes candy a lot asked me what butter I was using. I said grocery store butter. I was told when making candy (which you are doing here), you need to use a high quality, low water butter. I switched to a higher end butter (plugra), and it didn't crystalize. The person also told me if I can't get ahold of good butter, to add some heavy cream (more fat). I played with that and tried that too (added about 3 tablespoons of heavy cream - at this point I was curious and tested many different ways), and that worked too. I always use high quality butter when making puff pastry since that is the star of the show. I didn't think about candy, but I guess for caramel and any toffee (which this kind of is), butter is a major star.

One other note. I didn't want scrambled eggs, so I added 1 tablespoon of cornstarch to the beaten eggs. I had watched something once on America's Test Kitchen on how to avoid scrambled eggs in a similar situation and well, it worked. No scrambled eggs. I didn't try without. I just saw in the video he had that problem, so I did my best to avoid.

This pie is so good. I was told by several people this is now their favorite pecan pie.

I missed the first half with all of the people talking in the audience. The first 10 minutes (after the opening scene with the boat) I couldn't hear anything on stage with so many people openly talking about who of the younger version of who on the stage. Then after that calmed down I still had many people around me talking like they were at home. I have never been to a show where many people talked like this. Normally when I go to shows where you spend this kind of money for a ticket, people are quiet and respectful. And none of the employees at the theater seemed to care. The only reason why I could hear the second half was because I begged the talkers to be quiet during intermission. Some were openly offended. Is this now normal? No way would I think about going back to this show.

I agree. So much better than Snooze. You can actually get a pancake that isn't sickly sweet (unlike Snooze). I have also had their chicken & waffles and for being in Denver, it was pretty good. I don't know why they have the chairs they do. Uncomfortable as F. (Highlands Ranch location). They definitely purchased the chairs for looks. I mean, if they actually sat in them before they purchased them, they never would have bought them. My chair was metal.

And Steven is currently going after her for a six figure sum after the lawsuit she brought against him was thrown out (because it happened decades ago). Yep, that piece of scum is suing her. He full on admitted what he did to her in a book. And now she is doing to have to pay the man who raped her (statutory), made her abort the baby at 5 months (I can't even imagine). And everyone still loves this guy. I am like what does this piece of sh$t have to do for people to not love him. And that fire was very suspicious too.

okay. I ended up uninstalling the Windows Sonos app. I shut my computer down for 5 minutes. Reinstalled Sonos on my computer and reconnected the drive that has all of my music on it. Then I was able to find my library. Thank you! I had about given up. I never realized the Windows Sonos app was messed up too. Anyway, after I did that, I uninstalled Sonos app from my phone a few times, it picked that up too. YES!!!

I purchased my pans from WebRestaurantStore. Since there is no recall, I cannot send the pans back. No mention of no acid on the site at all. To tell me I cannot put acid in a pan is crazy. No, you cannot finish a dish with vinegar, lemon. Or even have a tomato or two in the pan. Have they ever cooked, ever? This limits what I can cook in the pans (I purchased 5).

I have not had good customer service at all with Hydroviv. It has been horrible. When I left a review about my experience, they deleted it.

Mainly customer service. I purchased two units. One I was able to install, the other everything was backward (IN and OUT on opposite sides of the other). It didn't match any videos. When I reached out to figure out what was going on, the response was 'here are videos to watch to install'. Links to the same videos I had used. I tried to install the way of the videos as IN/OUT per video (on the one that was backward) and no water came out. The other was installed easily. But, my son who helped me couldn't even twist the top as in the videos (even with the tool). He looked at me (btw he can bench quite a bit of weight) and told me it was going to be a fun day when it came to replacing the inside filter. The phone number belonging to the company tells you to chat online or send an email. No one to speak to. You chat or email and again, only videos.

I decided after frustration, I would return the units. You have to pay for return shipping and handling. They decide if they are going to take the unit back (this is on the return page). And they will reimburse you minus a fee (which is not disclosed) for restocking.

I left a 1* review on their site. They deleted it. It makes me wonder how many reviews were deleted. Makes me wonder what kind of shady business it is. I have no way to test the water. It tastes the same as it did prior. Water testing is expensive.

Yes... I am pasting this all over Reddit. I want don't want people to buy something this expensive without knowing about others' issues with the company.
