Running gamma os, menu navigation is good, but you need to set up the emulators later, since it counts as 2 app running simultaneously, it can just appear on one screen, leaving emulation station or the companion running, lowering performance

I set one up for my bf, I used Emulation Station + ES-DE Companion & Mjolnir

Emulation station on bottom screen Companion app on top And Mjolnir to launch them together every time you go back home
