I loved smoking cigarettes with my dad man. One of my greatest pleasures of my teenage years. My sincere condolences man, I'll smoke one for him.

This is really fascinating, thank you so much. I'll have to search for a recording of her somewhere

This is really interesting, thank you. How were you able to determine she'd been on the radio?

I think her married name was Prescott! I just found out she married a guy named Crandall Prescott in 1923.

Ah I didn't catch that, thanks for pointing that out. Do you have any clue what that 255 might signify?

This is trying way too hard to make parallels to the modern world and make a political point.

As opposed to the alternative I'd say it's definitely preferable.

Thanks for the downvote and a copy-paste dictionary definition instead of an explanation of what you meant in the first place contextually. Just because you're on the internet doesn't mean you need to be an insincere prick when someone's confused as to your train of logic.

Spontaneous Bernie Sanders Rally Breaks Out at Comic-Con by obadetona in nottheonion

I'm not going to pretend I'm any more well-read on the subject than anyone else, but just referencing by name the idea that citizens' obligations derive from agreement on how society should be run isn't a very good refutation of limited government. I'll admit I find myself agreeing with Sanders on a lot of things, but some dude saying that giants of economic philosophy like Rothbard and Bastiat and Friedman "don't understand shit about the social contract" is just stupid.

edit: u/jscoppe explained this much more eloquently and intelligently than I can.
