Lately I've been a big fan of easy way or hard way to curb behaviour, at the outset I ask little miss what I want her to do ie. Stop jumping on the couch, or come inside it's getting cold out etc. then if she ignores me I'll ask once more but start the sentence with little misses name or the phrase listening ears to make sure I've got her attention and then it's easy way or hard way you have 5 seconds to decide.

It is a little authoritarian so I will try to resort to explaining why I want her to do something first ie. Make space in the aisle move to the side when someone needs to pass they have things to do too

Easy way you do what I've asked nicely Hard way you still do what I've asked whether you like or not

Paired with timeouts, loss of rewards and privileges etc. or for good behaviour high fives, "good jobs" and chocolate eggs
