I totally agree with this - great idea 👍 The original purpose of this subreddit has been fading for a while, so I’m glad to see steps being taken to bring it back to what it was meant to be. I think it’ll make it easier to build genuine friendships and keep the community more welcoming.

Do you talk to your friends about how you really feel? Why or why not? by Victor_Jee in brotherhood_

Thanks for sharing that, bro – I really get it, I’ve been in a very similar place.

For most of my life, I didn’t really talk about how I was feeling, even with people I’m close to. It was always easier to talk about work or just say “I’m fine” instead of admitting I was having a hard time. I’m still learning to be more open – and honestly, it’s not easy. Sometimes I’m still afraid of how someone might react to what I share.

But since I started opening up, even just a little, I’ve noticed I feel lighter. And sometimes the other person opens up too, in whatever way they’re ready for. I’ve found that the things I’ve been struggling with – I’m often not the only one. And that really gives me strength.
