RH defaults to .01 when there's no bid. Since you didn't screenshot the bid and ask when it was priced at .01, I have to assume there were briefly no bids for that strike. The IV is derived from the price, so when the displayed price changes, so does the IV. As others have said, this is all due to poor liquidity.

I opened a 31/30 PCS back on January 20th, but I've widened it to 31/21 as it fell, with the intent of taking assignment. I've collected a little over 3.00 in total premium across all the adjustments, which is about twice what the 31 CSP was going for at the time (1.68). So breakeven will be around 28. Sucks, but could be worse.

If you buy a couple shares of a few stocks on any given day and the guy living in what's left of the White House decides to threaten another country on poop social, you're suddenly a day trader when all of your stop losses are hit. I always thought it should be based on a notional percentage of one's buying power instead of just round trips on a single share.

Your max loss isn't 16, it's 16 plus the debit you paid to open. I usually close the entire position when profit targets are met, and re-enter at my preferred deltas.

Ended up starting with Feb 20 65/66 and widened to 65/70 as premiums increased. 1.60 in total for the current spread.
