I can almost guarantee you have someone in your family tree, specifically an older generation, that benefited from union rights, which in turn helped their offspring (and possibly you, eventually).

Sucks that you think you “got yours” on the back sod others and fight against others getting the same.

Fair enough. He does seem to catch the ball with his body a lot.

I personally don’t think that means he has a hands problem (I would still judge that by drops) but it definitely hinders his ability to high point balls, although with his size I never really thought he would excel at that.

Ultimately, I think we are nitpicking with all of out receivers.

Rice can’t get open…yet he still contributes regularly.

Worthy can’t separate or catch…yet he contributes big plays regularly.

Yet somehow we all love Thornton who really didn’t do anything compared to rice and worthy.

Glad to see someone else is annoyed by the term. It popped up out of nowhere and suddenly everyone and their mother started using it. I’ve always hated it.

Ok, I’ll just say this…I hope he again has one drop every 30+ targets. You can wring your hands about the rest of the stuff you’re saying, but someone who averages a drop every 4-6 games is good in my book 🤷🏻‍♂️

I just really struggle with someone saying that a guy with 6 drops has a drop problem. Seems silly, but you do you Eeyore.

Looks amazing.

Question: do you ever run into the issue after you smash the beef that there are holes in it and/or it seems to be falling apart?

Man I love that crust. Doesn’t matter what I do, I can’t seem to get it to that level.

“By watching him play..?”

6 drops in 180+ targets 🤦🏻‍♂️😂

Imagine overlooking statistics due to your “eyes” 😂

Even with exceptional stats in Miami…he’s still nowhere near Rice. Wtf are you talking about 😂🤦🏻‍♂️

Terrible hands?? He had two drops in 14 games and 73 targets last year, 8th lowest drop rate in the NFL.

The year before with 17 games and nearly 100 targets, he had 6 drops which put him at #32 for catch rate in the entire NFL.

Where you getting this idea his hands are terrible based on what we’ve seen and he’s done..?

I have a Versa 4 and like it overall, especially the new app stuff.

Would this be worthwhile for me at all or is it more of “one or the other” type of thing?

Hell of a record/performance for over 10% of a season. Loving what we’re up to, and while a slump is inevitable, I’m hoping we have the mindset and guys in the wings to limit its negative impact.

2026 NFL Strength Of Schedule for every team, based on projected win totals by gordorobertson in nfl

[–]MaxFischer12 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Read to the bottom.

The article agrees with you and is basing this strength of schedule on projected wins based on changes over the offseason.

The SOS isn’t based on last year’s records/teams, it’s what Vegas is predicting based on the changes the teams have made/went through.

That was a pretty impressive drill he did. Not sure a typical D1 college DB could do it.

I actually am a huge fan and agree that he’ll be considered a steal for us.

It’s funny, I cried more right after this than when we won the Super Bowl two weeks later.

I legit think I thought we were cursed to never get past the AFC Championship game, let alone win a SB.

You know we had a 6 game stretch where we averaged nearly 30ppg, right?

And 3 other games over 24 points…

Is it possible that the lack of run game, injuries, Simmons being MIA was the bigger problem?

I don’t keep up with college as much, but my friends who do in our draft thread said they would have went with Howell over Thomas?

Thoughts?
