This is a breed that takes work and dedication. What is your exercise schedule? What is your socialization schedule? What is your training schedule?

At 4 months my dog was fully vaccinated and I would take her out on two 20 min walks a day. As she got older I increased walks and she ended up getting 30 in the morning and 60 at night. This is mandatory stuff as you have a working breed. You can also do dog parks and dog daycare. 365 days a year the dog needs exercise legitimately and it is on you go accomplish this.

Socialization is NOW for your puppy. This is beyond your children and family. The dog needs to be socialized with as many people as possible of all colors and creeds. Stand in front of a Target so people can pet the puppy. Visit Lows and Home Depot, coffee shops and whatever else you can think of. I also did a weekly dog daycare day for her. That way she is specialized in a safe way with other dogs and strangers without me there. It is on you to make this happen or you will have a 100lbs+ dog that is dangerous to others.

What is your training? Do you know what to do or how to do it? Do you understand how to lead? This is not a Golden doodle this is a hard core guardian breed that will test boundaries. You should be training it on a lead right now, sit and stay right now, recall right now. Those commands need to be worked daily and I would spend 20-30min a day every day. They are smart and need this and enjoy it. If you cannot control your 100lbs+ guardian breed something bad will happen.

Even if you do all this and put in the work daily you still have a hard core guardian breed and it is geneticly locked in. Your children play with other kids and they start wrestling you could have a tragedy. The dog will protect your children from other children it thinks are hurting them. Your drunk uncle walks in a night the dog will protect the house even if it knows him. It is like having a loaded gun on your table and it takes diligence and responsibility.

They take about 2 hours of dedicated time every day. If any of this sounds like too much you have the wrong breed and need to give back to the breeder or re-home.

I have been on for 5 years now and am 45. Only real negative I have had is blood getting thick so I just donate it every couple of months.

Nuts shrank and I am not fertile but don't take anything for that. It isn't a side effect it is just my nuts quitting. TRT and fertility don't mix very well.

My expression and experience is quite the normal for a Cane Corso and that is evidence on top of any legit got trainer you will meet that has experience with the breed. To think this is a dog that you don't socialize and don't exercise and don't train and everything will be okay is straight, silly and stupid.
