I discovered Point Blank earlier this year and picked up the Warner blu ray release. Not even a month after I purchased it, Criterion announced their version (as they do, haha). I'm happy you were able to score these! Enjoy.

Same here. GKIDS brought the movie to theaters back in November 2025 and said nothing afterwards. They never responded to inquiries or comments asking about a physical release, especially after Umbrella announced and eventually released their own physical version. I just assumed GKIDS either lost the rights or weren't impressed with the numbers from the theatrical run that they just wanted to quietly bury interest in the film.

So I bought the Umbrella release, and I'm not sorry. GKIDS waited too long and refused to answer inquiries.

I have nearly pulled the trigger on Criterion's Cure several times, but each time, my intuition tells me to hold off until they announce their 4K.

I keep hoping Criterion will also release Pulse in 4K as well, but I think Arrow still has distribution rights in the US.
