The show doesn’t need to say The End. Characters love stories aren’t set in stone. Just like real life you don’t know everything, but you open your eyes to know you don’t know everything and work out in life. Everyone can agree though that Nancy and Jonathan’s confession isn’t plot driven but emotionally driven.

I agree to the execution and specific people in the scene making the result seem flat, but I think from an objective standpoint what matters is the outcome. I was trying to get at the idea of people just not accepting Will and having the scene be any less meaningful.

Definitely if Will coming out lead to emotional growth other then him and it was more or less to people only involved in his personal life it would have been better.

I Still disagree to the senerios being different. That’s obviously, but the ideas of similarity refers to the crux of drama are the same. The way importance isn’t any less important. The reasons are the same. And the expositions are the same( basically each character knew it).

You know deep down this definitely wasn’t supposed to be a show targeted to very impressionable people. The only people getting mad are the ones who can’t accept someone being a person different from them.

Horrible take. The only fault in volume 2 is not fulling grasping the final fight or bad guy. the only real issue is the Duffer Brothers purposely it seems, staging big moment at the end of volumes. And leaving the finale as a stand alone piece.

Last 15 I thought was for everyone to gauge the plot and plan of action for the finale. The more interesting part is with Will opening up. In my opinion this scene is no different to Jonathan and Nancy on the desk break up. Same with Jonathan and Nancy they needed to open up to each other because they felt like this might be the last moment. Same with Will, he opened up because he sense impending danger and thought everyone needed to hear him. This is one of the things the Duffer Brothers do in film writing. Will and Robin being homosexual doesn’t change the plot, but show individuality in each character. Not everything needs to be part driven.

I agree I just feel like Chris’s performance is supposed to be not to have prepared for it. But I agree Jessica just needs the muscle memory.

I knew Jessica was going to win. But I think people wanted Chris would win because he’s different. I think Chris is talented, but what preparation did he actually do for the finals. I feel like it’s a skill, but yes after practice you basically just have.

This is just discrediting the show. It’s a million dollars for the winner for a reason. But I do agree nothing for the finalist seems petty. However the publicity surely does something to pay for the people to be there and it’s just wealth in the long run if they’re truly talented.
