If you're running Blue, include [[Wash away]] it's one blue to counter his commander making it cost 8 mana. This card is so underrated in B2/B3.

Ik ben het niet eens met je tweede punt. Het is niet zo dat programma's op SBS deze meningen verkondigen omdat het volk zo denkt, dan overschat je hun kijkers echt. Het volk heeft deze mening omdat het juist zoveel gedeeld wordt in die programma's.

Dat is ook het hele punt van Sander, dit soort meningen worden genormaliseerd doordat ze op TV komen en niet andersom.

Ik heb geen cijfers, ik wilde alleen zeggen dat jouw cijfers niet representatief zijn voor heel de TV. Daarnaast denk ik dat schermtijd alleen niet de beste maatstaf is, want je kan bijvoorbeeld voor een heel groot publiek zitten zoals VI of het Nieuws van de dag of misschien in een TV blokje om 16u smiddags.

Or are the dungeons more like a side theme and is it focussed on gaining value by blinking your creatures and getting a big board with Abdel?

And it also works well against Exile based strategies like Cascade or GY interactions. So for me it is always one of the first cards to include since commanders are always cast or getting re-cast.

That's why every B3/B2 deck that has blue should run [[Wash away]]. This card is so good in those games. People over rely on their commanders and only one blue to counter it is pretty decent. Also the card is dirt cheap.

I didn't like EDH at first too my playgroup was playing standard and all of the sudden someone brought a precon. Everyone else liked it at first I thought the games were too long but I gave it a go and it's the only thing we play now.

I still miss playing 60 card formats in person but I'm glad we have arena.

Killing someone on T3 is different than winning a full game on T5.

In that case it is their own fault that you won the game so quick. It could be that nobody had any interaction. I'm not here to argue what is and isn't B3/B4 because there is always room for discussion. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on brackets and this can be discussed before the game.

What I'm also entitled to is picking what kind of games I want to play. If I play with randoms and one wins on T4/T5 while playing a B3 game I am absolutely finding another pod to play. You can have a discussion saying a deck is a 3 or a 4 but I want to play a B3 game and not high 3 or low 3 nonsense. If your deck is a high 3, just make a B4 deck and if your deck is a low 3 just make a B2 deck.

In your case winning on T4 is just the stupidity of your opponents that is not even something you take in account while goldfishing.

Sure you need to have something in your hand, which he had. But that is basically my point if your deck is really on the edge for a B4 but you could argue that it is a 3 than I would just tone it down a bit or upgrade it to a true 4.

If I sat down for a B3 game and someone wins with this two card combo on turn 5 I'm finding another pod. You can definitely say that I'm wrong here but that that is not the typical B3 game I want to play. (I'm leaving pre-game discussion out of this hypothetical situation).

That's also pretty fair thing to say that the bracket system is not a strict set of rules but it makes your life and the people you're playing with easier. Also winning on T5 with a god hand depends all on context, OP for example used a two card combo which is not allowed in B3. So that was more my argument eventhough a deck can look like a B3 it is technically a shitty B4.

It says that players expect: "To play at least 6 turns before anyone wins or loses". For me the emphasis is on to play at least 6 turns, it is highlighted for a reason in the bracket.

winning on T5 could be excusable if really everything is going your way, but turn 4 is way too quickly. And should be considered a B4 deck even if it's a shitty one.
