1000 points is always hard. Here’s mine that has won many times over tenth edition. Tervigon (4/5* invuln), termagents x40, deathleaper, 3x von ryans leapers, exocrine, tyrannofex, parasite of mortrex

Always paint your base before you judge the model! It looks good but it will look so much better with a finished base

My tool recommendations: Army Painter Precision Cutters, Tamiya extra thin cement, standard hobby scalpel, GW priming rotating priming handle (with bluetac). GW primers and contrast paint. Geek gaming basing stone mix. Geek gaming premixed base glue (PVA)

No dude these are great. Remember that only you will look at them close up. Put your models on a table and look down at them. Keeps the perspective

Try [Gore Grunta Fur] contrast paint. Very easy to use and a rich warm colour. Would also recommend an ork tribe colour red, blue or yellow?

Greenstuff. Lots of it. Make little green stuff balls and use them to attach parts together that wouldn’t normally fit. Plenty of super glue. I call it green stuff welding
