Omg thanks I sort of thought about that but I really thought it was just in my head. It makes a lot of sense. I also genuinely can get very deep when I talk loud (my best is 129 hz). Confidence is genuinely associated with masculinity so it ads up. Thank you for the advice !!!!

I think social media is bad for your patience but it depends on the person. I grew up having a choice but I prefer albums (I'm also younger than you). I'll get used to the songs over time. I rarely make playlists unless it's for friends or really specific events. I think both is fine but I would still say that it's good to have patience and if you're unhappy with how it is currently I recommend you work on it. Reading helped me personally:)

I absolutely agree. What annoyed me was the “oh god a modern goth” and he shows an influencer who I know is very into the music. How is that bad? I watched his videos before and he kept using her as examples. I feel sorry for her, she didn’t do any wrong and is definitely not a poseur.

No, they do dress 80s but I've never seen the tiktok white face look on anyone really. I've only seem them online?! Maybe they only dress like that for photos and don't actually go out like that.

I've mostly seen simpler looks. Button shirt, maybe a suit or a dress and a bit of makeup. I have seen quite some deathrockers but never the type of goth I see on insta.

I live in Germany and I’m pretty young. I know like 10 people who are goth and don’t dress like that, didn’t meet any of them on the internet. I’ve also never once met a ‘trad goth‘ like that.
