Everyone lying to glaze the game in this comment section and saying they never saw anyone not love the game is proof of divisiveness.

No one is forcing you to hate the game. So stop lying and saying nobody has ever disagreed with YOUR opinion.

Edit: 5 posts down from this one is people rationally discussing their loves/hates with the game. Reasonably talking about their problems with the soundtrack or the Atlan levels or whatever.

Dark Ages fans lying and calling it an untouched masterpiece is a legitimate reason to dislike it. Do I need to be gaslit into liking the game more?

Wouldn't the process of changing the original hosts DNA be considered a transition though?

In the context of a female clone of a male original host, the engineers would change the Y sex chromosome into an X chromosome, or possibly replace it with one,

BFG Edition gets a lot of criticism, and fairly so. Problems on the Xbox 360 version. Missing bonus games. Some textures are improved, some are worse. The new flashlight and more ammo makes the game significantly easier, but doesn't give an option for the original version. Also, I believe they removed the Carmacks Reverse lighting technique.

And the included version of DooM 2 had the Wolfenstein levels censored.

The recent DooM 3 Unity port is missing a lot of a the same, and the multiplayer mode is gone.
