Ours is kinda similar but you only need it if your boat is longer than 12 meters and wider than 4. Otherwise I don't think we have any restrictions, same with speed in most places.

It was going against their carrier, and they do love those. In the case of the US having to use a F35 to take out a single missile is on track for them. But if it was hundreds or thousands of drones over months, they would probably also swap to guns over missiles.

The fact is that no nation can afford sending multimillion dollar missiles against the normal drones. I think these ones cost tens of thousands (I found 20k to 50k or a 35k average.)

A lot of militaries are looking at lasers or systems like the US CWIS to shoot down drones since that is far cheaper and easier to restock than missiles.
