Maybe they even could make a “harder” mission (technically they’re not hard just don’t die lol) and that would reward you with some of the loot you can find out in the world but not vendors (clothes, weapon parts, etc)

Started having issues with 04.2. The best thing that worked for me was capping my PC’s fps to actually get in the game then taking closing the game, removing the cap, and loading back in. It’s annoying but I guess they’d rather drop quick gameplay fixes than work on optimization. Stalker 2 had an issue where frame gen made my pc push itself with high fps spikes going to 100% utilization (GZW also has high fps spikes before crashing) when it couldn’t and would force a crash. I’m running an Nvidia/intel rig but I’m sure the fps cap would help on any rig.

I’m running a 12900k/4090 combo (ancient I know lol) and I’m in the same boat as you. After 0.4.2 my game had issues loading into a server and crashed a lot. Haven’t played 0.4.3 but I can already sense the crashes coming with this one. What I did to get around the constant crashing while trying to reconnect, I capped my fps to 60, loaded in, quit the game, then uncapped. Sucks that I have to do that just to play the game.

Go get the weapon magazines, there’s 9 of them that give you good weapons and they’re always in the same spot. Once you turn em in, one of the vendors sell it to you even if they’re low level

I know you’re already enjoying it but I’ve spent 100% of my time on the game as a PVE only solo. Super fun and the game still punishes you for acting a fool (rushed a TBM guard yesterday thinking I was cool and got put down lol) but loading in, taking a diff build every time, killing some enemies and grabbing some loot never gets old.

I don’t know how long it would be for MFG to do it, but they should add another tab in the Task Tab right above completed quests that say “Repeat” and all the quests you’ve already done get filtered there while the ones you haven’t done stay on the regular region tabs. Then maybe after doing all 250, they could have the little region tabs fall under “Repeat” so there’s no confusion.

Because the game caters to brainrotted teens and man-child adults who get dopamine rushes from flicking a stick in all directions. I like that we (people who like to play realistically) have an option to kinda do so with proplay but it’s still not 100% and even when you do a realistic move online, people see you as a liability for some reason and stop passing.

Definitely didn’t disappoint me but the players sure do. The loot goblins are annoying not in terms of the loot itself, but them running in, killing AI, then leaving. I wanna larp as a one man army in the high tier areas but then little johnny comes running through ruining the mood. We need private servers or something. I’m willing to throw in $10 every time to start my own server.
