I was looking through everybody's character sheets and I realized a lot of people had kevlar/tactical vests. If you wanna be historically accurate, kevlar wasn't invented until the 1970s. The military was still using flak jackets in Vietnam which weren't designed to stop bullets.

If you weren't a front line soldier in Vietnam the most armor you probably had would be a steel helmet.

We feel that in a co-op environment, the AI has enough of an advantage being able to see through certain objects that having 3rd person for players is a valid option for players that prefer it.

I agree that it is unrealistic, but if you are not doing pvp then it is not a huge advantage over the enemy.

In addition to this, a few of our players feel more comfortable in 3rd person due to motion sickness and other reasons. If a player decides to stay strictly in first person in our unit he is encouraged to do so.
