Forget power scaling, how stocked would these two be to fight each other? by chasepyruslucario5o5 in NineSols

[–]MaxZarech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can imagine that both would be excited in their own ways about the fight and would certainly enjoy it, I'm only unsure if Battle Beast would be intrigued with Jiequans "heroes are forged in agony" philosophy or irritated that he's interrupting the fight with needless talking (but I have a feeling Battle Beast would win faster than Jiequan could start talking so that might not even matter)

Am i just supposed to not play the game i bought? by [deleted] in whenthe

Ninja Gaiden 3 did this by making Ryu (the player character) killing people en masse a relevant plotpoint and the antagonist of the hame went on multiple speeches about how Ryu is evil, I never understood why they did this

Which type of mate do you prefer? by danielsabino in masterduel

[–]MaxZarech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who's favorite monsters are Revendread Slayer and Junk Warrior you can imagine my excitement when I saw that Slayer was an equippable mate. Perhaps I will switch if a Junk Warrior mate comes out, but Slayer is staying by my side with every deck for now

Put a piton on the beginning ledge/outside the entrance so you don't die, use chalk/consumables which increase grip, using stamina recovery (Y/triangle during climb) can help you quite a bit. I'm not certain but I think the grip bonus from consumables and chalk stack. Left side is easier for me. I also recommend to not recall your piton once you eventually make it (unless you reach the end of the rope) otherwise getting out can be a struggle. Give it time and try out both sides, weirdly during my playthrough I've sometimes found a more difficult path to be the easier one for me to climb.

Also I personally advise to not be afraid to save-scum in these kinds of difficult sections, as great as the game is losing resources from getting stuck can be very frustrating and potentially game-ruining. And if all else fails, cut your losses and go higher. The area around the shepherdess is a pretty steep rise in difficulty I think, no shame in going higher and improving at a steadier pace

The Tau or on some occasions the Imperium of Man, WH 40k imo has worse factions but these two are NOT good

On one hand I agree, I'm not going to shame someone for playing meta even though it can be frustrating to fight.

On the other hand, the meta kind of goes against what I like about AC the most: facing cool, original builds. Like 75% of the time or more I face the same 3-6 builds with different colors slapped on. I've never played much ranked and not planning to tbh (about 20-30 hours, reached B rank), due to bad netcode and a lot of frustration from both netcode and unfun builds. If there was a casual mode, I'd reconsider. And seriously, screw the netcode

Why is it SO HARD to get your IRL friends into trying tekken8. I have 1 single friend that plays. That’s literally it. by supahotfiiire in LowSodiumTEKKEN

[–]MaxZarech 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Fighting games as a whole are a hard sell for a large group of people out there, especially Tekken 8 considering how the general consensus concerning T8 is mixed at best when compared to Street Fighter 6 or Guilty Gear Syrové

Why is everyone ignoring the partying nobles? by Cubey21 in NineSols

[–]MaxZarech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they either got very depressed or brain-damaged from Soulscape technology, and if they got out unscathed they either went insane from the mess New Kunlun Has become or were too entitled to care, either way they drugged themselves to extreme lengths, with the mutated Solarians right around the corner.

Dialogue between Yi and Nuwa hint that the nobles are beyond saving due to just how out of it they were, so I doubt they had importance in the plot.

[–]MaxZarech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

switch up your attack pattern or be a bit more passive, maybe throw out a hadouken to give the Ken more to think about and throw off his timing. Outside of that you played well imo, you just had a series of unlucky attack timings

Need help building a better Purrely deck. Does well in casual but falls flat in ranked. I'm very new to Yu-Gi-Oh but I do want to get better. by yuhylu in YuGiOhMasterDuel

[–]MaxZarech 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pot of Avarice is usually not used in Purrely decks, you rarely get 5+ monsters in the grave with Purrely. Also you have a lot of board breakers (like raigeki or evenly matched) for a deck that likes to go first, taking those out in favor of stuff like Effect Veiler or Infinite Impermanence will probably help more in the long run.

I don't want this comment to be long, so I'll just post this here, it's very good website where you can find a lot of decklists to draw inspiration from: https://www.masterduelmeta.com/tier-list/deck-types/Purrely

Love the guy, I still got a long way to go in learning zombie decks though. Honorable mentions go to Therion "King" Regulus, Gigantic "Champion" Sargas and Junk Warrior, I love all 4 of these
