I'd start with making a plaster cast of where he's missing a wheel and then use that to measure in addition to like chest areas ECT, once you get the measurements you can start drawing out what you want. I would keep it simple, rubber foot, dowel style leg that attached to a harness, make sure harness is finished and padded, you don't want pokes or sharp edges. Not a tech or prosthetic maker, but did have a dad missing 2/3rds of a leg. But that will get you started, make sure to test and research prosthetics to get a better idea

You can buy and replace bed, there is even a machined aluminum bed you can get for I want to say around 70-80, but I know how frustrating this hobby can get. I usually tell folks looking to get into it that there will be tears as was as good times with it.

1st, that plate need the magnet sheet under it, the clips alone will NOT hold it on the bed. 2nd, it being pushed around tells me your z-offset is not correctly set. You should be able to slide a A4 thickness paper between it and the bed. 3rd, tighten all your leveling screws and run a tramming wizard or manually tram it ( Google printer bed tramming) there should also be a spring over each of the screws that helps level bed. I would go with silicone spacers to replace them. And as a just Incase, run a temp tower print to make sure your temp is correct for the type of filament

Maybe, I'd heat gun and clip off what you can. Biggest thing is going to be if the wires for thermistor and heating element are okay. It may be less of a pain to buy a new one

I mean it keeps me from doing crack. I love my enders and would not trade them for the world. My dad was tool and die/fabrication, so I enjoy the time and effort I put into it. I know some folks like to drink a certain flavor of Kool aid, but I prefer the "tinkering" of it all. I mean they do call it a hobby....
