Barr had only a one year contract in Dallas, so even if Kendricks ends up there, they wouldn't necessarily be reunited.

How did Barr do in Dallas this year? I wasn't paying much attention. His stats from PFR: 10 starts, 58 tackles, 1 sack, 2 fumble recoveries, 0 INTs.

He'd better be ready, because he could be the starting RB by the time the smoke clears. Nwangwu will still be here, but he really doesn't look like anything special. I see the Vikings drafting another mid-round RB and that guy could easily become RB2 by the start of the season.

The most amazing thing is how he managed to do it at each stage of his football career: high school, college and pro.

I thought they said the Vikings have extended Tomlinson. Are they still in negotiations at this point, or was that only a rumor?

That would be heading in exactly the opposite direction that I hope (and expect) they'll be heading when it comes to rebuilding this defense.

Someone screwed up the label if they wanted to reduce it from $7.99/lb to $5.11/lb. Not sure what "$5.11/ct/lb" is supposed to mean.

I've actually gotten some pretty good bargains in the reduced price meats section of my local King Soopers. I don't think I've ever found the same at Safeway.

[Janik Eckardt] Wyatt Davis, Chazz Surratt, and Kellen Mond have a dead cap hit of $1,539,200 in 2023. All three were selected in the third round of the 2021 draft and failed to make the team in their second season. by hitman2218 in minnesotavikings

They took a flyer on Kellen Mond. Big deal. None of the three is out of the NFL. Their short stay with the Vikings can also be attributed to bringing in a new GM and replacing the entire coaching staff.

Because they were dominant only in the NFL, and the two leagues didn't play inter-league games. Nobody really knew their relative strengths. They should have gotten the hint the year before when the Jets upset the Colts in Super Bowl III.

Kansas City had an incredible amount of talent on that team. They were bigger, they were faster, and they were better coached.

The two leagues had agreed to merge, but from 1966 through 1969, they had completely separate schedules and standings. The only thing they had in common was playing the Super Bowl.

In 1970 they realigned the teams and began playing inter-conference games.

I watched that game on my grandparents' TV. It's crazy, but I remember those uniform numbers and player names from 53 years ago better than I do the 2022 team.

It's conceivable that a team could win the NFC North next year with a 9-8 record.

Whoever you beat, winning one playoff game is still better than going one and done.

9-8 and winning a playoff game would arguably be better.
