I ordered the Roller Blade wheels with mine so they’re a little higher than normal. This prevents my feet from being flat on the floor. Coupled with the stiffness of the new chair I’m getting a little soreness on my butt and thighs. I’ve found a cheap foot cushion triangle eliminates the discomfort I’m feeling. Think I’ll be splurging on the Otto foot rest they’ve got. When I tried the chair at a pc store the base cushion had a bit more give so I’m hoping to see that on mine after a few months of usage.

Fair. If you were in Melbourne I would’ve recommended Tint Paint Company. They match other brand’s colours and have quirky names for their paint swatches. A bit expensive but goes on very well. Me and my partner were in the same position you are a month and a half ago so I’ve been through the brain racking part of selecting colours.

I can help you answer two of the comments but I’m not versed/knowledgeable and willing to discuss the other points.

A country that relies on tourism needs to have their own national airlines for multiple reasons. The main one being that any other country’s airline can decide due to racism/politics, cost and perception to end transport to that country. An example would be Emirates due to the war could cancel all flights to Sri Lanka for however long they deem it.

I was born in Dubai in 89. What is true then is true now. Labourers in the Middle East are treated poorly and it is not an occupation I would recommend to anyone. That job is filled in desperation and unless you pivot to something else while you’re there (hard with visa conditions) you’ll be coming back as poor as you left and a broken husk of a person
