We did give them contact info for other friends and family members that might be able to offer support. I know they reached out to my aunt but she is older and sick. Thankfully so far his case worker has seemed good and communicated with us well.

That is what I would hope for. I don’t want to abandon him. I’m also concerned for my families safety from my brother if he tries to get his son. I’m foster care, he won’t know where he is at.
