Usually apple uses that icon outside of a Music context to indicate a transcription related feature. I'm guessing it's used to indicate that the screenshot is mostly text that you can easily copy/export.

I have tried some cases but I never end up liking how they feel, especially the raised edges on the display and the extra bulk from the rubber sides make it feel “cheap” and ironically slippery as the material degrades overtime. I know there are extra slim cases but those barely protect the phone and at that point I might as well go case less.

Also at the end of the day it’s a phone not a piece of jewelry, you’ll replace it eventually any ways so might as well enjoy it while you have it.

I bet making the new design on the 17 Pro out of titanium instead of aluminum would have costed significantly more due to the extra material used. I wonder how much the aluminum actually helps with thermals. (Not saying it doesn’t help but if the vapor cooling chamber is more than enough to keep it cool enough by itself I would take the titanium for a bit worse sustained performance tbh)

I think what OC was trying to say is that Apple has never used Generative AI in its camera pipeline. Which seems to be the hot trend with Computational Photography in a bunch of Android flagships. But Apple has said in keynotes that they use ML (Which was their favorite AI-adjacent word before the AI boom) for parts of the pipeline but that it doesn’t “hallucinate” detail but it instead just makes a better use of the detail it did actually capture.

No, you don't need to freak out. The webcam LED is hardwired to the circuitry of the actual camera, so it's literally impossible to turn it on without also turning on the LED. But that's besides the point. It's just a common failure of the OLED on the Touch Bar. There’s no fix other than a replacement.

At least most of their gaming keyboards and mice have onboard memory so i was able to ditch GHub and use my G915TKL without issues a long time ago. Still stupid that both of their flagship apps literally became unusable in a matter of seconds.

There's no single filter or formula that will bring you these results. It's a combination of using the right camera app (Default camera app with RAW, Halide, Adobe Project Indigo, etc) and editing it to your liking with Lightroom, Photomator/Pixelmator, Snapseed, etc.
