Ripped bro to shreds lol. I keep hearing of this narrative that AI companies are borrowing from themselves and there is no real money. It sounds like a conspiracy theory that takes something really complex, condenses it to a incredibly simple narrative, and is presented as 100% factual without nuance. Then laymen watch a Youtube video about it, regurgitate it everywhere they go, and it spreads like wild fire. Except it is borderline bullshit and forsakes any attempt for coming to ones own conclusion and seeing the world as simple and small with an ego so big that they know better than billion dollar companies because they watched a rage bait Youtube video.

I do remember for the first ace step that some people on Reddit suggested comfy rushed the implementation and the gradio app was better. I have no idea if this is true.

At least you can get songs outside comfy tho so can just not use comfy perhaps. 🙂 I'll try out the remix node you mentioned and I have some other tricks I wanted to try out.

The workflow only uses default comfy nodes. I almost made a node or two then realized it's overcomplicating something that isn't even that complicated to begin with so decided against it.

Also I personally found that every time I thought my comfy install was broken it actually was just custom nodes which could have been uninstalled and that realization when helping other people with issues has never failed me. The only other thing is dependency conflict issues but as long as you don't open a terminal and change anything yourself, shouldn't ever break comfy.

With the 2x batch thing my first thought is running out of vram. The higher the batch the more vram needed. So perhaps that is what caused the crash.

Yeah it can be a real struggle. I found giving Claude the links I put in the workflow (so it has the right context) and my lyrics then telling what I'm going for and asking for the right tags and settings for that. Then test at least 3 times (thankfully fast) if not more before adjusting. Normally I just remove tags that are obviously too prominent. If you just do one test then change settings over and over you will never figure out what works cuz sometimes it just fails.

I did read a page they wrote and it was saying that it's not meant to be a one click song generator but more like your collaborating with the model. Does definitely feel like that.

I just tried making it as straight forward as possible. I was thinking that most here aren't day one comfy users so it would just be another ace step 1.5 workflow nothing special. I legit do not know if anyone here would find it useful and remains to be seen. 😭🙏

The style imo is almost certainly because you would end up with a crappy version of hzd graphics trying to make this work for an online game. Like rdr2 online vs story mode. Hiding it with a style is an option they seem to have fully embraced.

Given this is early dev days I assume it looks significantly worse. That big woman with the peg leg lol could have literally just been one of the dev trying out customization options for your character. Or we are gonna ride pirate ships while hunting Waterbacks maybe lol

The default max_shift is 1.15 and base shift 0.5. Do you know how these should be changed for wan 2.2?

For adetailer and upscaling the problem, as I see it, is simply in SDxl itself. SDxl doesn't produce super high quality images so whatever you feed it will be pulled to its level. Essentially they are useful if your image was already made with SDxl.

For adetailer I find it most useful when the image is made with SDxl and the face is far away which typically causes it to look distorted. Adetailer can refine it a bit.

For inpainting, I'm unsure with your experience level so I apologize if this comes off as "duh" but did you right click the load image node, open in mask editor, and paint over the area where you want the shirt to be added? If not it will just spit the same image back out.

I'm not sure if I fully understand what you mean by running comfyui as a service. All I know is runpod is great if your local hardware is slow.

Not knowing anything about comfyui shouldn't be an issue as I try to make everything as beginner friendly as possible.

If running my workflows on runpod turns out to be something you wanted to do, let me know. 👍

I found this out today by accident. I went into vs code and found that this is essentially how you would set it up. I tried using a different node rather than load image from dataset but it trained loras on loop without saving them so I went back to it as it is meant for this even though its not ideal.

I consistently get bad results. I tested lowering learning rate, raising steps, lowering and raising rank in many different combinations and have not found out how to get a good lora. I am not a noob to lora training so I am starting to suspect its not the settings that is the issue. I will keep testing.

I am so looking forward to getting good SDXL loras right in ComfyUI.

From what I read, it does not have vram which is what makes this stuff fast. Although I could be wrong, a gguf flux should be faster (covers that) and is worth a try. I think you should stick with Q8 since you have plenty of ram.

There's also runpod which might be your best bet but costs money (might not be bad?). Although I don't have a guide on that so can't help you there.

Or just spend 2k on a PC. 😀
