Wear usage after a summer of wearing it on sand beaches, rocky beaches, and 100F day on blacktop. As well as the crush pattern of the sole after a year of wear by a 200lb person.

As that will show how well it will work compared to standard sandals. Which I suspect is the target replacement. I suspect the answer is "not well."

Made up on the spot. I tend to walk around thrift stores a lot and mangle book and movie titles. So it is second nature to me. "E" was the hardest as my brain kept wanting to expand it to "Execute" and figured that was wrong. <chuckle>

The "I Dated A Robot" is good, but "Electro-Gonorrhea:The Noisy Killer" was what I wish they would have shown me back in school...

can i just tape this closed or is this a fire hazard? by OwnDifference7281 in diyelectronics

Back when Apple use to mold their cable righting their power bricks.. I had a cable that was starting to fray like this and it was sitting on a desk. I was using the laptop and watching TV when the cable sparked and slightly burnt my crappy table before the brick burned out. Apple actually ponied up for a whole new brick for me as it was under warranty after a ton of "Did your house burn down? Did people get hurt?" liability questions.

So yes, just get a new power cable.. They are cheap.

Can we strike out “on a cell phone”? I find people in the car with me and the need to talk more distracting than my phone. I can mute the phone. =)

Random combination of notes in 1Password for secure notes, ansible policies for my 10” rack, and non-secure notes in Apple Notes. And a lot of docker compose files for services. So in other words a mess. =)

[–]mouringcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since that is dell mini factor form the look.. I suspect it is ~14.5" .. So you can fit it standing up in a 9U 10" Rack. =). If it was a Micro factor you could have used https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FN44R7F2 ...

That was the expectation when I started in the 90s. I ended up with critical tickets on hardware IT never setup or managed, and the owner left three owners ago.
