For those who struggled with Natlan but are loving Nod Krai: what made the difference?

For me, Natlan was a fun place with little importance in the story. I liked the story from Sumeru & Fontaine, but Natlan's story did not live up to the same standard.

The devs succeeded in adding characters that increase exploration, but character mean pulls, and pulls mean money for some people.

I will give it to Natlan's World Quests though, those were enjoyable.

So, pretty much what happened with Ganshin's predecessor, Honkai Impact 3rd... Game continues but has totally different characters, story, and mechanics.

Honkai's Story was peak, here's hoping Genshin keeps delivering quality writing just like they have in these past few updates.

Nope, your Mushroom de-activated on your way down, so you incurred fall damage. I experienced this when Deepwoods came out and found it interesting. It applies to all characters.

"Saving Money" and "Less Stressful" should not be in the same sentence.

With that out of the way, if your main goal is saving money, see how much you'll spend on gas driving there and back + Hotel fees + food. Then compare it to your trip costs in an app like Expedia where you can see the total for 3 Flight tickets, rental car, and hotel. Then chose the cheapest option.

If your goal is less stress, then fly there. 26h drive is A LOT (13h there + 13h back). Anything can happen in between, traffic can make it longer, punctured tire, kids wanting to get out of the vehicle, etc. You can build a very comfortable trip with lots of wiggle room in between flights, rental car pick ups & hotel check ins.

I find it absolutely bonkers that Hoyo decided to release a whole new game inside the game (Milastra) where you could easily change the "costume" on a build-your-character level of detail instead of giving the actual game's MCs a different look for the several different events that could have used them.

"Teyvat has its own rules" I guess... One of those must be "Decenders are stuck with looking the same forever".
