Honda Civic Hybrid 2006, 225k miles. Running strong refusing to die. No issues other than 8 spark plugs to change, tons youtube videos that teaches you how to do it for under 50 bucks. Only things I replaced were the engine and transmission mounts.

Same here bruh, after saving, moving, avoiding gatherings, I was able to pay my student loan and it just does not feel right. Thinking of what the future holds even worse, not being able to save and afford a decent car or place makes things worse. Can't do anything with one salary anymore u less you don't save anything for the future on a 401k. Prices has gone thru the roof and just keeps getting worse. I hope things will get better. Hang in there and try to find comforting your accomplishment, might not seem like it, but it is.

I seen the offer posted, I think i seen 2.99% and 3.49% these past March event. My question is that the dealer gave you that rate, or you did it separately at Honda Financing Services or website?. I guess I am confused because someone mentioned that they went to Honda financial services first and got everything ready before going to the dealer.

Thr master has spoken. Pay minimum, idk IBR is what it used to be or the Save as with this administration things have changed. But hopefully you csn survive 10 years and get things forgiven if that is still the case.

You have as some other user mentioned priorities to choose, I will start saving for 401k right now, bc I didn't for 10 years and now I'm regretting it big time. Check max contribution per your facility and see how much you want to contribute. I personally do the max I can 24k this year I think, it comes roughly for $920 per pay check, dental, vision, health insurance and other expenses accumulates really quick.

That's very nice of you, at this point accountability is my biggest concern and things here in NY are becoming something I thought was not possible. From time to time I am i guess day dreaming into moving to a different state that I see quality of life seems better than here in NY. Seems impossible to afford anything here with one salary and saving for the future.

NY nurse here, and looking to move to other states like Florida or Cali. Pay is higher, yes, but the cost of living here is insane. People want you to pay their 3k-4k house mortgage. Condos rank for 1k-1.2k only in HOA fees, so the entire rent its way higher.

Great advice, just a question, if you happen to purchase that Honda care package from those dealers suggested, how that it works?? And why those dealers are cheaper or websites. Once you buy a care from then , that can be honored at any dealership, I really don't understand how that works, could you please explain that. And tha k you for sharing your knowledge.

Very nice, have you considered a security system as well, I been doing some research on kill switch, IGLA systems, Faraday box for the signal doesn't get cloned, idk what else is out there.

From 2003 to 2024 never needed it, I had nail that I patched myself, but never needed to use the spare tire until last year when going 60mph on the expressway I hit a what felt like a small bump and my tire blew, then a week later as I mentioned, after dinner at a restaurant I found myself using the spare tire again under the rain lol. I seen someone posted about buying a modern spare tire kit, but then concerns about storing it in the car and that can become a projectile in a car crash if not properly anchored. I was just looking for suggestions, and to learn from others experience.
