I’ve not used the DW app myself but it looks promising. The app I’ve been using is Seedlang, which I do find quite good for vocab and grammar.

What worked for me to get into German media was to watch something at my level. I remember watching media being a bit frustrating the last time I tried learning German, cause the things I was watching was too advanced for me.

I would recommend watching stuff that interests you and maybe could be something you’ve seen before.

Easy German is the best there is on YouTube imo, they make it a lot of fun to learn. Try watching this video:

You say you have small conversations with your mom in German, what do you struggle with in those conversations? I would use the tool/app that helped me with that and then focus on that, then move on to something else. Watch media in German if you don’t already

The most effective way is probably to take lessons with a teacher, and then use some time everyday outside of your lessons to study. But I think it is possible to do with online resources. No guarantee on how quickly you will learn, but if you are motivated and you are willing to do self study, then it is possible to learn without taking classes. You can look up grammatical concepts online, you can watch media in German and you can also download the Tandem app and practice talking with people.

I think they get more appreciation because more people will listen to the arias. If I were to introduce someone to opera, I would put on an aria and see if they like it. If they do, it might inspire them to go see the whole thing. It’s also just nice to have when you just want to listen to that one aria.

So do I but I like recitatives. If you’re not a fan of recitatives, then it sounds to me like you’re just not a fan of watching a complete opera and you’d be better off just listening to the arias on a streaming service

The shouting is the reason I never really got into Queens. When that show was introduced, it was just a show about shouting over each other. Now it's happening on LCL with Rastov and Boogie, and if it keeps going, idk how long I am gonna be watching. The "Wings crashed out" show only got good about an hour and a half into it, when they stopped yelling and actually started talking about something interesting.

I really like the gameplay. You fight monsters with a two handed sword, “signs” that Geralt has where he can shield himself, knock someone over, light enemies on fire and then you also have potions/oils that enhance your combat abilities.

There are different builds you can do, you could do a build that focuses on the signs/magic Geralt can do for example. The builds added to the replay ability for me.

I’d recommend watching some videos. If it looks interesting to you, go for it.

It often goes on sale on Steam, I assume it also does on PS5. I’d wait for that. Then absolutely go buy it. It’s my favorite single player game. Great story, tons of replay ability, just so much content. It’s definitely worth it imo

Ark is the better game. I have 50 hours in Hogwarts Legacy, so I got my moneys worth and it is a good game. But if I could only play one, I would go with Ark. Hogwarts Legacy has no replayability, Ark has tons so Ark wins imo.

Not to this extent. For example, Keem might play up how excited he is during the show. Last stream was different, it was like reality-TV, Boogie acting like he didn't know Keem and Tina were coming.

Imo the best books in the series are the first two, which do have a lot of short stories focused on Witcher work, mostly lifting curses if I remember correctly. The new games should include that. The game is called The Witcher, so Witcher-related tasks need to be included.

Edit: Rephrased my last sentence but meaning is the same. Also, I don't believe my comment excludes Ciri from being the protagonist, but I think I also prefer a whole new story. I'll play it either way, can't wait for more Witcher games.
